Mountain Christian Church is a member of "The Gospel Coalition", our church is conservative (reformed) in its doctrine and very liberal in how we reach out to others, understanding we much preach the Gospel for others to be saved, while God must regenerate first in order to hear and understand the Gospel.

Mountain Christian Church is a member of "The Gospel Coalition", our church is conservative (reformed) in its doctrine and very liberal in how we reach out to others, understanding we much preach the Gospel for others to be saved. Mountain Christian Church is led by a group of called, biblically qualified elders who act as co-shepherds of our body, and has contemporary worship and expository preaching on Sunday mornings with two worship services. Cedar Crest is a small community that serves a large area of rural homes that stretch to Edgewood NM. Mountain Christian Church is located 3.5 miles north of I-40 on Highway (Hwy) 14 that runs north from Tijeras, NM. Cedar Crest is only 10 minutes from I-40 and Tramway. Our church has a very active youth group and children’s program, women’s Bible study, men’s groups. Our mission is making disciples and Jesus is our head shepherd. Mountain Christian Church preaches the Gospel of Jesus for the growth of believers and salvation of unbelievers. We believe in the five Solas; by grace alone, by faith alone, by Christ alone, by the Bible alone and for the Glory of God alone. We emphasis small groups and understand that deeper relationships foster greater encouragement, accountability, support and Christian growth. We are active in helping our community meet personal needs, determined to build relationships that lead others to the Body of Christ and a relationship with God the Father and Holy Spirit. Mountain Christian church is evangelical and believes one must be born again in Christ to be saved, to discover the relationship God has intended for them and each other.
